Series Description The Red Star Line Museum Collection consists of ephemera, objects, and items documenting the lives and everyday experiences of it's passengers travelling to America from 1873-1934.
Biographical Note / History On 15 February 1892, Jozef Hutlet and his wife, Félicité, took eight of their children and left their village in the Ardennes, in the Province of Luxembourg. Their final destination was Manitoba, Canada which they travelled to on board the Red Star Line steamer, the SS Mongolian, 1892.
