Description | Miscellaneous correspondence relating to the colonisation of New South Wales, largely addressed to Secretary of State for the Colonies Lord Bathurst, and his Undersecretary Henry Goulburn. The volume largely covers petitioners seeking employment, passage to the colony and various payments, judicial affairs, the transport of supplies and other items to New South Wales, and religion in the colony. It also covers the seizure of the American vessel 'Traveller' during the War of 1812. The correspondence is minuted throughout. |
