Description Correspondence from a committee in the House of Commons, the Empire Development Parliamentary Committee, consisting of 208 members and formed to further the interests of the Empire. The committee acted in 1921 on a recommendation of the previous Imperial Conference to move in the direction of overseas settlement of the Dominions.
