Description A collection of recipes noted down by Georgina Costello. Includes recipes for meals, drinks and medicine. This file also contains a number of miscellaneous items such as sheet music, a family tree connecting the Costello family to William the Conqueror, and a document from the Orphan's Court about the Estate of Catherine Costello.
Series Description The collection consists of papers of the Costello(e) family, who came to Philadelphia from Dublin, Ireland, in 1833. It contains correspondence dealing with real estate in Ireland and other business affairs, the American Civil War, Irish politics, and family affairs. Also present are financial and legal papers, a recipe book, and unpublished poetry by James Costello of Tennessee.
