Description 11 cm in height. Medicine for "for inhilation" – bottle in box. The Bottle: First label reads: Vaporesolene, for inhalation. Active Ingredient: The Cresylic Acid Fraction of Coal Tar, A Vapor inhalant recommended for loosening mucous discharges in the nose and throat associated with colds, to be vaporized only in the Cresolene Vaporizer, Vapo-Cresolene Co., 62 Cortlandt St., New York, N. Y., U.S.A., Net contents 2 fluid oz. Second label reads: Caution not to be taken internally. Poison, Antidotes, internal – give milk, raw egg white, mucilage, gruel or cornstarch paste: follow with emetic (tablespoonful of mustard in a glass full of water), Call Physician, external – bathe with alcohol or whiskey, then use olive, cottonseed or linseed oil. The Box: Bottom label reads: Cresolene is put up in three sizes viz: 2 oz bottle 30c., 4½ oz bottle 60c., 16 oz bottle $1.75 Top label reads: Electric vaporizer, 110-120 volts A.C. or D.C., sells for $2.50 with 2-oz. bottle of Cresolene in United States and Canada.
