Description Miscellaneous correspondence relating to the colonisation of New South Wales, largely addressed to Secretary of State for the Colonies Lord Bathurst, and his Undersecretary Henry Goulburn. The volume largely covers petitioners seeking employment, passage to the colony and various payments, judicial affairs, the transport of supplies and other items to New South Wales, and religion in the colony. The correspondence is minuted throughout.
Series Description This series contains original correspondence relating to New South Wales. Also includes correspondence relating to Van Diemen's Land (later Tasmania) up to 1825.
