Description Jacqueline was born at 97 Orchard Street in 1919 and lived there until she was nine. She relates what she can remember of her mother and the neighbourhood growing up, the friends they had and the entertainment they would go to on the Lower East Side. She also talks about how her mother set up the apartment and how they managed living together in a small space.
