Description An autobiography written by Michael Joseph Prebilic, born 1892, who emigrated from what is now Slovenia to the United States. The papers also contains a family tree, and a number of diary entries in English, concerning day-to-day family life in 1951-58.
Biographical Note / History Michael Joseph Prebilic (c.1892-1958), was an immigrant from Slovenia. Prebilic lived in Eveleth, Minnesota, immigrated in October 1909, later he worked as a miner and a plumber. Michael Prebilic was a member of local lodges of the Slovenian-American Catholic Union, American Fraternal Union, and the Yugoslav Club.
