Description | 7.5 x .2.75 inches. Assists in Relief of Coughs, Colds, Whooping Cough, Croup, Asthma, Bronchitis. Square bottle full of syrup with rectangular box. Front of bottle reads: Dr. A. Boschee's German Syrup of Tar, Wild Cherry etc., Contains 0.24 Grain Sulp., Morphine per ounce, 1¾ per cent alcohol., Assists in relief of coughs, colds, bronchitis, hoarseness, croup, whooping cough, asthma., Guaranteed by G. G. Green, Sole Manufacturer, ?odbury, N.J. U.S.A., To be pure, wholesome and free from adulterations., see directions on back of bottle, Proprietor L. M. Green. Back of bottle: Directions for Dr. A. Boschee's German Syrup, Dose for an adult, teaspoonful every 3 hours. Not to be given to a child under 3 years of age. For a child 3 years old, 5 to 15 drops; 5 year olds, 20 to 30 drops; 12 years old, small teaspoonful. If it causes sickness take less at a dose. For best results take as directed, and not drink out of the bottle carelessly. Ausust Flower should be used if bowels are constipated., Shake well before using., This medicine contains less than 1-32 grain sulphate morphine to an adult dose. Increasing the dose has a tendancy to nauseate and sicken the patient., Labels revised January 5, 1916. Box: Top label, repeats what is on the front of the bottle. First side label is in German script. Second side label is difficult to read due to staining from liquid and folding of box. |
