Description Five letters from George Sneddon regarding his travels and death. The letters detail his life in San Francisco and the California Gold Fields. His wife and family remained in Liverpool, he was unhappy in San Francisco and suffered ill health. He travelled to Honolulu to recuperate and eventually died there. Some further letters involve the settlement of his estate.
