Description Hodkinson describes the perrilous voyage between New Zealand and England in a ship which begins to leak after leaving port. He provides descriptions of fellow passengers, what happened to a stowaway Royal Navy sailor, how the crew and passengers tackle the issues of flooding and general journey conditions through bad weather and storms. The ship arrived safely at Liverpool.
