Description Diary of Berndt, a tailor, written in German which documents his trip from Krakow, Poland, to Bremerhaven and his voyage to Texas aboard the Herschel with his friend Banofsky. It also describes his adventures while travelling in Texas as well as a trip to New Orleans and a tour with a minstrel show.
